Dust Is the Reminiscence of the Stars…
…as a hydrogen cloud and its material collapses into a gravitational field, this starts and feeds a new star. These hydrogen atoms through nuclear fission and experiencing radioactive decay, transform the hydrogen atoms into new elements, from hydrogen, down the noble gases, and through elements lowering in ionization energy. The cycle continues until the supernova occurs, scattering all the atoms throughout space to be attracted into new gravitational fields. Earth’s gravitational field has picked up these atoms that are all made up of the recycled stardust, meaning every atom of the Earth is made from the past stars. Dust, and its beautiful cycle shares the message of renewal, and is our reassurance things will turn out how they ought to be.
We aim to change the way people see dust. Not as this endless chore of cleaning, but to a moment to breathe and remember this is the beautiful natural cycle showing things are in renewal.
In support of this movement, we’ve spread this idea via street art. Similarly to dust in the wind, as time passes our art is washed away, and the cycle of death and rebirth continues.
